One With God 21/5/07

For a while now the Holy Spirit has been leading me to meditate and pray about; Being One with God, Life, Glory, and Holiness….

Jesus said He is "The way the truth and the life". He didn't come just to give us a ticket to heaven, it is much, much, more than that. As we draw closer to becoming one with Him. His LIFE flowing in us and through us will affect every area of our lives and everything around us. No sickness, no poverty, no death, no decay…. Think about it! Death and decay came upon all creation because of the sin of one man!!!

Jesus was life and much more, but He said He only did what He saw the Father doing… Before Adam and Eve sinned they, and all of creation was clothed and saturated with the GLORY OF GOD.  It wasn't just an external thing. Our bodies, all of creation was created to "be One with God" and be "Transformed by His Glory". We are to live as One with God, Constantly in His Glory, His Presence….

Before God spoke creation into being, the Bible tells us that the Spirit of God - the Holy Spirit was hovering over the waters. One sin was enough to change all of creation. Jesus said "be perfect as I am perfect". That is only possible as we are One with God. One with Jesus and His LIFE, One with the Father and His GLORY, One with the Holy Spirit and His HOLINESS.

About two weeks ago as I was meditating on these things The Holy Spirit reminded me of Larry Randolph's vision of God. http://www.etpv.org/1996-97/randolph.html He saw God the Father as BLUE and Jesus as RED.

In an instant I saw the Father as BLUE, Jesus as RED, and the Holy Spirit as YELLOW. The three primary colours from which all other colours are made. LIFE, GLORY, HOLINESS the three "elements" of God from which all of creation - visible and invisible has been made. As I was seeing this, I saw three strands of a DNA chain flowing through all of creation. And yet God only said of "man" "let us make man in our image and in our likeness…" It was only the sin of "man" that caused death and decay to come into all of creation…..

All of creation is waiting for the Sons of God to be revealed….
